Currently, there is a change in the processing time for Netherlands Visit Visa applications. Previously, the processing time for Netherlands Visit Visa applications was around (Standard Day -15days), but now, starting July 31, 2025, VFS Global and NetherlandsWorldwide have announced that the Maximum Visa Processing Time will be up to 45days. This processing time is 45 calendar days, excluding (Sat/Sun) holidays.

This change applies to short-term visas such as (Visit, Tourism, Family/Friend Visit, Business Trip, Airport Transit). Long-Stay Visas such as (Resident Permit, Study, Work) are subject to separate rules and are not included in the Schengen Category, so this change does not apply.

Therefore, we would like to inform clients who are currently applying for a Visit Visa to visit the Netherlands to apply at least (6 months) and at least (3 months) in advance of the date of travel.
